Equine facilitated psychotherapy is an experiential form of therapy helping people grow, heal, and learn about themselves by being in relationship with horses. You may be seeking to:
  • Resolve conflict,
  • Improve your relationship,
  • Overcome depression or
  • Get support to move through grief, loss or a major life transition.

If so, equine facilitated psychotherapy could help. Durango Equine Therapy offers three ways to participate:

1. Attend weekly or bi-monthly equine psychotherapy sessions. This program is designed for people who live locally (in the southwest Colorado region).
2. Attend a Private Equine Retreat: One, two, or three days.
3. Attend a professionals retreat, ACCESSING PRESENCE. This program is designed specifically for helping professionals and is offered twice yearly.
